LinxT respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the LinxT mobile application (“App”) handles information when you use it.

1. Information We Collect

a. Camera and Sensor Data

LinxT uses your device’s camera and motion sensors (via ARKit) to:

• Detect and track golf ball movement
• Provide augmented reality overlays
• Estimate shot distance and assist in locating your ball

Important:
All camera and sensor data is processed locally on your device.
We do not record, store, or transmit camera footage or sensor data.

b. Location Data

LinxT allows you to save GPS locations (“pins”) to help you find your ball later.

• Location data is only accessed when you choose to use the “Mark Location” feature
• Saved locations are stored locally on your device
• Location data is not shared, transmitted, or stored externally

c. Analytics and Personal Data

LinxT does not:

• Collect personal information (such as name, email, or account data)
• Use third-party analytics or tracking tools
• Track users across apps or websites

2. How We Use Information

All data used by LinxT is strictly for app functionality, including:

• Ball detection and tracking
• Distance estimation
• Saving and viewing location pins

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or resale.

3. Data Storage

• All data (including saved locations) is stored locally on your device
• We do not maintain servers or databases containing user data
• If you delete the app, all stored data is permanently removed

4. Data Sharing

We do not share any user data with:

• Third parties
• Advertisers
• Analytics providers

5. Permissions

LinxT may request access to:

• Camera — required for AR-based ball detection
• Location — required only when saving a pin

These permissions are used solely for core app functionality.

6. Children’s Privacy

LinxT does not knowingly collect or store personal data from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected, the app is safe for general audiences.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated “Effective Date.”
